A Los Angeles, California-based metal outfit featuring ex-members of King Cobra and Ratt, Bulletboys' flamboyant blend of glam metal and hard rock found success via a gold-selling debut album that arrived just in time to catch the last wave of the s hair metal scene. They disbanded in after enduring numerous personnel changes and stylistic misfires, but found a measure of success.

Why Wounded Bird opted for Za-Za over their eponymous debut is anyone's guess, but nevertheless these two records show a band struggling with their identity, as well as a rapidly evolving pop music climate that was slowly pushing.
